My bad experience at Subway

I posted to Subway’s Facebook page, but here it is for posterity:

I will not be eating at Subway again, I’m afraid. Ever. Yesterday, I was on Michigan Avenue in Chicago, and needed to use the restroom, and stopped into a Subway. It was something of an emergency, so I made my way quickly towards the back. Now, background: I have a mild hearing disability, and have hearing aids. So one of the employees, of Indian decent, made a few comments after yelling at me regarding “no public restrooms!”. Okay, if the bathrooms aren’t public, fine (they’ve been disgusting in most of your locations I’ve been to, anyway). But his comments to the effect of, “what, you don’t hear me? do you have a problem?”. My hearing aids are fairly visible and obvious, so those comments are highly inappropriate. He then began to berate me as I walked towards the exit. I said nothing back. l used to enjoy buying a lunch from Subway once a week. I won’t be doing that anymore, and will be informing my friends and family members (I have two friends as witnesses to the event), as well.

This is just rediculous. Next thing you know, their Indian people will mock people in wheelchairs? Most of them are already borderline disgusting, but I think this kicks me away as a customer for good. I’ll walk the extra block for Portillo’s from now on.
